Mare is a Philly-born singer-songwriter, pianist, and producer known for her soulful/pop sound and rich alto voice. Influenced by legends like Donny Hathaway, Tony Bennett, Whitney Houston, and Brandy, Mare’s music bridges the classic and the contemporary.

Formerly a music teacher, Mare made a bold decision to pursue her artistry full-time and the results have been nothing short of extraordinary. She’s shared stages with some of music’s biggest names, including Lizzo, Ari Lennox, Lauryn Hill and served as musical director for fellow Philly native, Tierra Whack’s NPR Tiny Desk performance. From performing with Lizzo’s all-female choir during her Grammy-winning performance of “Special,” to singing background vocals on Ari Lennox’s “Pressure” live on Jimmy Kimmel, Mare’s voice continues to make a lasting impression.

Most recently, Mare joined the Bacon Brothers band, expanding her musical reach and versatility. She also received a nod of approval from none other than Timbaland during one of his viral TikTok Lives, further solidifying her as a rising artist to watch.

Her songs “Peace,” “Should’ve Been Gone,” and “Good Time” offer a glimpse into Mare’s signature style: honest lyrics, soulful melodies, and undeniable feel-good energy. Whether behind the piano or front and center on stage, Mare delivers a sound and presence that’s unforgettable.
